SINGAPORE — On July 10, 2025, Uwing International School successfully hosted its first “Safety Awareness Day” of the year. Organized by the Student Services Department, the event featured a specialized anti-drug education seminar led by the Singapore Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), aimed at enhancing students’ self-protection awareness and equipping them with essential safety skills.

Tailoring their presentation to the unique psychological and developmental needs of adolescents, two officers from the CNB utilized real-world case studies to provide a detailed analysis of the severe consequences of drug abuse and trafficking. The session provided a thorough overview of Singapore’s stringent drug control laws and emphasized the devastating impact that drug use can have on individual health, family stability, and the broader community.
